on the pyramid of the Kukulkan - line of sight ball game place

A small gate at the foot of the north stairs grants access to an early,
today completely overbuilt sanctum of the first pyramid (not always open).
A narrow airless corridor leads into the cella(naos) with the famous red-painted
jaguar throne inlaid with jade fragments and a Chac Mool sculpture.
